PARTICIPATORY PHOTOGRAPHY

Tracey has expert knowledge of running participatory projects of differing scales in varying contexts. Her methodology builds on the power and potential of photography as a flexible and empowering tool that is at once, accessible, therapeutic, influential and communicative.

She has led numerous photography projects with marginalised groups including children/young adults with learning and behavioural difficulties, disaffected youth, individuals with special needs, refugees, survivors of genocide, torture, trafficking and rape, senior citizens, sex workers and teenage parents.

Workshops are tailored to suit the needs of the group; focusing on developing participant’s skills and enabling individuals to use photography as a tool to enable positive social change.

Clients include: Allchange Arts, Create Arts, Croydon Council, Helen Bamber Foundation, London Sinfonietta, Newlon Housing Group, Paintings in Hospitals, Spectrum and Willis Newson.
